I was surfing around on IMDB today, and learned the most amazingly, fantabulously, shockingly, awesome news that I have heard in a while.
Our dearest, most beloved X-box game (in the short history of X-box games) is to become a film.
That's right, kiddies, MASTER CHIEF HITS THE BIG SCREEN(in 2007....)
I CANNOT WAIT!!
Magical link to happiness: imdb.com/title/tt0464037/
No information to about it yet, but still, we can keep track of it.

Yeah, that was announced a week or two ago. Haven’t really played the games other then a few hours of multi-player, so I don’t know what it would be again anyway.
Still, video game to movies has a horrible track record. How about that Doom movie coming out soon? The game is about one lone marine on Mars fighting demons. The movie is about a group of soldiers on Earth fighting aliens. Great start there buddy.
I'm more curious to see how the Metroid movie pans out. We haven't heard much on that for a while, other then John Woo expressing some interest in it.

Ya, I heard about the Halo movie about a month ago. Looking at the game, it might be ok, look how Resident Evil turned out. O yeah there might be a half life 2 movie also.

I won't go see it once it comes out (if it even does), because I pretty much don't care at all about Halo.
Yeah, I have played it a few times at a friend's house. I find the first one to be better than the second, as in, not as boring, but he begs to differ.

Its not super booring, but its definatly not the best game ever. (as you can see, i dedicate my whole video game part of my life to Nintendo, addicted to zelda, and my name in spanish class is Mario. I do like the soundtrack of Halo though.

Lol I try as hard as I can to get good at it so when my brother comes back from the Navy I can kick his butt at it for sticken me with so many plasmas the last time we played... but mostly I like the game and hope it makes a good movie. After what happened with hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, (the tranformation from book to movie, I mean) I am used to the abuse brought on my unworthy directors. Not saying that who ever makes this is unworthy but they had better do some good.

I probably won't see the Metroid movie, either. XD
(I gave up on Metroid Prime after Phendrana Drifts, when the enemies went from really stupid to really smart. That, and all that backtracking annoyed me very much.)
