Delaying until Spring? That almost sounds like they're going to change it from being a Gamecube game to being a Revolution game...

Which would be a likely possibility. It is, nonetheless, depressing for those that would actually be able to purchase and play on the original date.

Maybe when the Revolution hits (hopefully this springh) it will have a downloaded version of Twilight Princess already on the console. That would be cool.
Heres what Nintendo said about TP: 'Our development team has decided to take extra time to add some incredible new elements to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. As a result, the game will now launch in 2006 globally. We recognize there may be some disappointed fans, however we firmly believe this additional time will result in a much more enjoyable gaming experience.'

Right...some dissapointed fans??? SOME DISSAPOINTED FANS!!! EVERY SINGLE GAMER OUT THERE IS NOW DISSAPOINTED!! Come on...we just want to play Zelda.

Hey, if it means better gameplay, I'll wait for as long as it takes.

Well, I can’t say I’m too terribly surprised. If there were ever a game to delay, it would be a Zelda one. Guess the only Cube games I have to look forward to are the past ones I’ve missed. At least they’re going to be making a better game. But still, that was supposed to be the big holiday game to take up my time. You know, to distract me from getting an expensive Xbox360.
Oh, and I doubt it will be a Revolution game. The Revolution could handle graphics so much more then the Gamecube, but there’s that controller thing. They might just do a “You know … you can play that new Zelda game on the Revolution too” shortly after Zelda:TP comes out. At least, I hope the Revolution comes out next spring. Last I heard they were thinking about fall of 2006.
But there is some good news for some of you! Next week the Nintendo DS system is having a price drop down to $130. Fun time happy time! And if you don’t have a Gamecube yet, you can get Smash Brothers free in some Cube packs.

Thats it. I cave in. I must buy a DS. I cant take it anymore, and I need something to fill the gap until the Revolution, if it comes out in november next year.

Mario Kart Online sometime this fall! Better start saving your pennies for that one and find yourself an internet hot spot. Or, supposidly later this year (probably for a Christmas time special) they’re going to be releasing a $150 DS bundle that comes with the Metroid Hunters game. But that’s a ways away, and we need to get Meteos, Advanced Wars: DS, Lunar DS, and Castilvainia DS, and all those other great DS games coming out this year.
But man … nothing’s going to be as epic as playing a Zelda game this holiday season. Sigh …

Well, at my local wal-mart they have Electric blue DS's that come with a free Mario 64 DS...which would be about the same if you buy the $130 and that game, but they still may continue that deal when the price lowers... we'll see. I wouldn't care as much about buying a DS really if Zelda would be out soon... *more sobs*
O yeah... how do you find out if there's a DS hot spot in your area??

Hotspot is just a name for WiFi (wireless) internet access. You can make one yourself by hooking a WiFi transmitter that sends the internet out as a signal to your high speed internet access modem. Then if your computer, laptop, Xbox, Revolution, or DS have a WiFi card in they can read that signal. Both the DS and Revolution have that card built in, so you don’t have to worry about that step. Even if you have high speed internet and don’t want to or can’t buy a WiFi transmitter, I heard that Nintendo might be making a USB port add on that’ll let you hook it up to the internet that way. But if you’re like me and don’t have high speed internet, there’s still other ways and that’s through hotspots. Many different places have these like some Starbucks, libraries, and even a few McDonalds I think. The drawback is that many of these places charge per hour to use them, or you have to sign up to a service. But not all do. Right where I live the local mall is free access to anyone with a WiFi receiver in their device, so I hope the DS will work. Check the web to find hotspots or sites like these. www.jiwire.com/www.wi-fihotspotlist.com/I’m sure Nintendo will release more information on how to use the DS online once the due date draws nearer. I hope it’s launching soon this fall. I’ve got me some Animal Crossing and Mario Kart to play.

They need to port the original Super smash Bros. over to DS with online...That would "smash" the PSP. Get it-smash-hahahahaha.
There should hopefully be a hotspot in my area scince its growing so rapidly. Is 3 starbucks normal?
O yeah does it matter what Wireless Network it is?

It doesn't matter what kind of internet service it is, just as long as it's fast and giving out the WiFi signal the DS needs.
I think Nintendo is thinking about a Smash Brothers game for the DS, but right now I think they're working more on the one for the Revolution system so that it can launch with it.

Uhh...So, there are a few in my area, does it have to be a certain connection? What if it was, say, a T-Mobile wireless connection? Would the DS still work there?
