I don't have Animal Crossing, but I'd like to someday. Online village visiting sounds fun. Plus the cube one was fun, and this one has more fun stuff as well.
But I do have Mario Kart DS, and my code for that one is -
429556 243665
Someday I hope to play against someone I know ... or at least play against someone who's on my friend list. The avatar I drew for my cart is awesome!

I almost decided to buy a DS today, just so that I could get in on these games. Three things held me back, however:
1) I'm still watching my money until I start my job next month. 2) I don't have a wireless router, so the only way I could do online play is to find a hotspot, and if there's none in my apartment complex, I'm stuck. 3) I noticed Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones was out, and opted for that instead.

Ech, McDonald's.
MKDS is under my Christmas tree and'll be opened up in a couple of weeks. Until then, you must wait patiently for me to give my Friend Code.
As for the connection, I've got one. Looks like it'll work.
Okay, the friend code is (For MKDS): 043011 502051

Same story with me. I have a wireless connection at home for our cable modem. Oh, and Insane: Your friend code changes every time you go to another hot spot.

You don't even need to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to view your friend code, so it definitely doesn't rely on hot spots.

Your friend code will never change as long as you use the same game in the same system. If you play your copy of MKDS on a friend's system, it'll make a code for that pairing. So it wouldn't matter how you connect to the internet. In fact, MKDS lets you save three different online settings, in case you visit a friends often and want to use their router.
And I also have my own wireless router going. I set it up this summer since I knew Mario Kart and Animal Crossing were going on line. And since then Metroid Hunters has been added to the online list, huzzah!
Now all we need is more 3rd party support. How about another online Bomberman or fighting game, hmmm?

I can't wait till Hunters!!! It'll be so awsome... for now though, Metroid Prime Pinball will have to do... and the unbeatable Echoes. Darn Screw Attack!
