What's Eternal Sonata all about? I've been doing some research but I'd like to know more about it from someone who's played it. I'm kind of a music nut, and this looks right up my alley. Not to mention it's developed by Tri-Crescendo, the guys who helped bring about my favorite RPG Baten Kaitos.

I've played the demo on Xbox Live. It's certainly very interesting.
It has a cel-shaded look to it, which is nice on a system where everybody just tries to look as real as they can get. But what I really find interesting about the came is the battle system.
It starts normal, walk up to an enemy, enter the battle screen. But when you battle, each character has five seconds of action. So you have five seconds to move, attack, heal, and so on. As you attack you build up a combo meter, and any character can use that buildup to unleash a powerful move. It gets deeper with dark/light areas and action blocking.
As for music, there's only so much you can hear in the demo. But it sounds like they stuck a lot of Chopin's piano pieces into the game. I've heard it also has a surprising amount of history on Chopin's life too.
It actually looks like it'll be the first 360 game I'll be buying since Dead Rising came out last year. At least, I would if I had $60 lying around.

Thanks for the info! And yes, I thought the cel-shaded look was pretty cool. That's what made Wind Waker one of my favorites, with it's cartoony designs and bright color.
Aw man, it looks like it's only going to be on XBox360 and PS3. I don't have or have access to either of those. If it was even on the PS2 I'd consider buying one for that, but I guess I'm just out of luck this time.
Unfortunately, even if I had a 360, there's still a matter of priority as to which games I need to buy first. Phoenix Wright 3 is coming next month, as are LOZ Phantom Hourglass and Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution. As it stands I barely have enough money for one DS game.
