Just a thread for me to show my fan series of sorts. I've got it in me 'ead to do a series of main Phil folks; I don't know how many I'm going to do. I tried to keep certain aspects of the characters in tact, as minute as it may be. But who better than to start it off with?

Oooh, very well drawn. I'm impressed!
He doesn't look very geeky though, almost athletic. (then again, he does throw snowballs very well) Oh well, I'm not really sure how one would go about making someone look "nerdy" anyway. Maybe he has crooked teeth or something ;D

I could make his belt higher perhaps. I don't think he turned out nerdy b/c most of the "nerdy" people that I know are average kinda people. I've got Doug and Mel finished, and I've got to post them up next time I have a chance. I've got a big art project I've got to work on, so it may be a while.

Nice. I agree that he should be a little more nerdy. Looks cool like anime. 5 out of 5.
EDIT: Found out what he needs; dark circles and slightly baggy eyes. Remember that Phil is a very overworked, overstresses, and overtired employee at Happy Taco's resturaunt.

I don't know which Monday...hmmmm...yeah. Sorry, I meant to get a bunch of stuff posted on my Deviant page this week, since it's my spring break and all..but I've been busy prom shopping and in general shopping and I'm in the middle of trying to get myself moved upstairs and and...It's all a big mess. If I've got time tonight, JUST FOR YOU, I'll see if I can get those two up.
Edit: PRAISE ME!! PRAISE ME!!!

I'm make them prettier later, I promise! Hooray for mathclass: The place where I can draw anything (seriously, whenever I draw something outside of math, or at least start something outside...IT'S CRAP!)! I find it kinda depressing that my style has changed since January. I blame Doug Tennapel.

Praise!!
Oh my, Mel done be an alien! And bald. That must be why he always is wearing a hat, he he. But seriously, it looks great for a character that’s some shape shifting demonic being in a simple style comic.
Doug looks crazy, and that’s what Doug is, whoo-hoo! I think his is the best out of all three, actually. He does look like some nutty fellow who spends straight days locked in a room working on a computer. The shirt was a nice touch too.

I agree about Doug, his hair is a great interpretation of the way it sticks out the side in the comics, and he definitely looks like the kind of guy you see playing videogames all day. The rest of the details on Mel were filled nicely as well. Very well done ^^

I admit, I think that Doug's probably my fav of the three too. I did try to keep his hair á la Doug too.

I'll consider it. I was actually going to do a longer series and probably include Phil's g/f, the taco regulars, and Sal. I've been busy (again) and I haven't had much doodling time. Plus my senioritis is in full swing now and I have the desire to do nothing and sleep.
