Indeed, this might turn out to be the best one yet. We don't know much yet, that's for E3 in less then two weeks. It is supposed to be long (about 70 hours), there's going to be lots of fighting on horseback, you can talk to animals, and the usual Ganon/kidnapped Zelda stuff.
But until then, Wind Waker is my favorite (I loved the artstyle/presentation and the sailing) but OoT is close.

I'd say it's a tie between the two. I really liked OOT for it's great targeting system, scary dungeons and catchy songs, and Wind Waker has an awesome art style and many lovable characters (Aryll, Tetra, Medli, and Fado were some of my favorites).
I wish I could go to E3 to play the new game, but you can be sure I'll be pre-ordering!

Woot woot! Sounds like another awesome game.
Many board members on IGM seem to think it's a horrible title for the new Legend of Zelda. They say it's too girly having "princess" in the name. I like the name myself, but even if it was named "Twilight Girly-Girl" I'd still buy it.

Zelda IS a princess, so I don't understand why they'd be upset. I think most of the people disagreeing with the title probably still think that 'Zelda' is the hero, not the princess (the same kind of people that think 'Metroid' is the name of the lead character in that game).

I used to think that Metroid was the hero, and that the hero was a guy. Anyway, here's the discussion about why the name is apparently not right for the game: boards.ign.com/Legend_of_Zelda/b5188/87179752/?58 I don't get it either, but it's kinda funny how everyone who hates the name says they'll buy it, but doubts that anyone else will just because of it's name.

I think the name's fine. It even sounds cool. Its really no big deal. The wolf thing was awsome in the trailer, and its like i always say: Its not about apearence, gadgets etc. Its about games/software.

Although the name Twilight Princess seemed strange at first, well good golly if it hasn't grown on it. It's kind of a beautiful name, and since it's a beautiful looking game I guess it works. Although I loved Wind Waker because of it's artistic style and the way it used it, I think I might love this one because of an overwhelming sense of beauty. Plus the never failed Zelda game controls won't hurt.
I haven't seen the new trailers (dial-up), but I liked the old one. They seem to be packing a ton of stuff into this game, so I'm looking forward to it. Nintendo won’t let this one be a clunker. Though there's not really many other cube games I'm looking forward to. Been stocking up on GBA and DS games lately. It helps that those two systems are working 100% of the time, but whatever.

Ya, the name is really beautiful. The new LOZ should be the best one yet, though in my opinion, all Zelda's are equally fun. (Except maybe Zelda 2. That one was cool, but I never got into it.)
There is no GC games (other than Zelda) that I am anticipating to be released. Maybe if I get the x-tra cash, I'll buy a DS.

I just beat OOt again. It was fun! It has a good connection with WW when Ganondorf says, "When I escape this place, I will exterminate your descendants!"

While surfing the Internet for some Zelda stuff, I came across "The Legend of Zelda: Online." I haven't played it yet because the server has been down, and it sounds like it goes down every once-in-a-while too, BUT the downloads are free. It sounds like a good online timewaster and something to help ease the pain of waiting for Twilight Princess. You can find is at this site: dhost.info/wota2/index.php
