I wouldn’t say the Nintendo president (Mr. I-can’t-spell-his-name) is a genius. He has a bad habit of saying things in a way that just don’t sit right with some people. Luckily they also have Reggie, and he balances things out for them.
However, yes, as a whole I think Nintendo are usually geniuses overall. They have some of the best games (like the upcoming Zelda). I also like how they don’t jump the gun like other companies. The new Revolution system is finally going to have online and DVD playback. Why? Because we’ve gotten to the point were you could add those things at low cost.
That’s why the PS3 is either going to be incredibly expensive, or Sony is going to have to take a heavy hit in the wallet. It uses the new, first ever usage of the Blu-Ray (next DVD they’re hoping) disk drive. And we all know how much DVD players cost when they first came out. I paid almost $200 for mine, and that was only five years ago. Also, I’ve heard that if you bought the video cards in the system right now, it would cost $1000. So yeah, the PS3 is going to be immensely powerful, but computers will be passing it soon after anyway.
Funny thing, although the PS3 is more powerful, I’ve heard the Xbox 360 makes a far better use of it’s power. Much better set-up and build inside.
Oh well, as long as Nintendo doesn’t get left in the dust like it did with the Gamecube, I’ll be happy. We need a system out there doing something different, so we can play more the Madden #10 and the five billionth FPS.

Along with Twighlight princess, there is also a Zelda DS coming out. One more reason DS is better than PSP! HeHe!

No, the reason the DS is better then the PSP is number of games. That’s right, although the PSP launched with more games then the DS had over all those month, the DS is catching up quick. I can also think of one really good example. For the PSP I can think of four games I wouldn’t mind having (Wipeout Pure, Twisted Metal, Lumines, and Darkstalkers), I can think of four games I wouldn’t mind having on the DS that are coming out THIS month in June (Kirby, Splinter Cell, Meteos, and Bomberman).
Also, PSP sales have been slowing down in Japan. The games have been selling quite poorly, actually, with none of them making the top 20. The DS, on the other hand, is still selling 3 to 1 against the PSP I believe. Oh, except that week when Nintendogs was released, then the DS sales were more then the PSP and PS2 sales combined. I don't know how well it’s doing over here in America, but it looks like Nintendo is going to be okay. Especially since there’s so many good games coming out for the DS.
A new Mario Brothers Viewtiful Joe DS Advanced Wars: Dual Strike Castlevainia: Dawn of Sorrow Animal Crossing Online Mario Kart Online Electroplankten Final Fantasy 3 Zelda Four Swords DS Goldeneye: Double Agent Katamari Damacy Mario & Luigi 2 Metroid: Hunters Metroid Pinball Nanostray Sonic Rush
And don’t forget there’s the new BLUE colored DS coming out this month as well. So it took a while, but the DS is really starting to take shape. Now I have too many games to buy. The DS is really taking over my Gamecube playing time. The only thing I’m looking forward to is Zelda: TP, so I can see why.

Urgent!Urgent! I was at gamestop.com today and they already have preorders for Revolution games, said to release 3/1/06. They probably won't ship that time of the year or that day, but they were all priced at $60. They also had ps3 and x-box 360 games also priced at $60. They probably won't stay at this price, but they had Zelda Revolution which means its most likely already in development. Another Zelda to wait for.

Yes, there is a Zelda game being made for the Revolution. That's all we know. Take the preorder with a grain of salt, though. Nintendo hasn't even shown all the system, let alone when it will come out. In fact, if you read the fine print they say "subject to date change, price change, and cancellation" so they're petty much jumping the gun here.
Still, it would be nice to have the system in March. It would be funny if it comes out around PS3 time, a system that would cost two to three times more.

Oh you know what? A new Fire Emblem Game is coming out for GC. I havn't played the GBA one, but it looks pretty cool.
But other than that I'm still saving for a DS (about 1/4 the way there), the new Zelda (of course), and a few GC titles I havn't got around to buying (Mario Party 5 or 6, MK: Deception, a few more.).

I've heard that Fire Emblem is a very cool game, although I haven't played it either.

Rumors are that TP might be rated T.

I would be surprised if it WASN'T rated T. There were a few moments in the older Zelda games that I thought were pushing a G rating (enemies that bleed and the ending to Wind Waker). But this one is darker and spookier, so I'm sure it will get a T. At least if it wants to be taken seriously and look more grown-up from the get-go.

Now as much as I wanna see the new maturer type of Zelda Game, I'm gonna miss the happy, fun, cartoony, humorus, and cell shaded Zelda Game . I think they should expand on Windwaker and make it like a subseries of somesort (like the outbreak series in Resident Evil). Only a few more months left!
