There are plently of great reviews for this movie on the web. There are also plenty of bad reviews for this movie. I'm not really gonna review it since alot of what I will said has been said and beaten to a bloody pile of pulp but I'll say a few things about this movie.
Very dissatisfying. I mean, what the hell just happened? Not even the last fight between Smith and Neo at the height of their powers made me enjoy the movie. NOT EVEN THAT ONE PUNCH NEO LANDS ON SMITH LEFT ME SAVORING. I dunno, I saw it twice. Maybe I was looking for something.
Some scenes were TOO LONG *coughshutuptrinitycough*. Speaking of long scenes, I actually wanted the Architect to speak more. Maybe explain himself a bit. That crazy Colonel Sanders looking program... Grrr.
If you saw the movie and feel the same way I do about its religous implications, you'd agree with me that I think Revelations would be a better title. I mean Revolutions... hasn't there been a revolution going o since the begining? Wh yis the ending a revolution? And the movie feels unfinished so I guess Revelations isn't as good as a title. But it fits in religous aspects.
Also... brilliant dialouge... HUR HUR
I dunno where to stop so i'll end it here. Don't do like I do and analyze the heck out of the Matrix triology. They're really just action films after all.

I think the title ought to have spoiler warning after my post but here's your spolier warning right here if you haven't seen it! Some scenes were TOO LONG *coughshutuptrinitycough* I know what you mean. it was like, just shut up and die now Trinity! I felt Matrix 3 was quite anti-climatic, especially with all that hype. There was still some questions left unanswered. I think the directors are leaving too much to interpretation. the dialogue also ranged from corny to cheesy. however, the Neo/Smith fight was an amazing spectacle, as was in the scene when the sentinals burst into Zion. Overall this was a better film than Reloaded (grr... the 5 hour long sex/rave scene!...grrrr ) But Matrix 1 was the truely 'revolutionary' one!

Yeah, saying that I liked the first Matrix film better than the others is like saying I liked Empire Strikes Back better. People keep saying "Blasphemy!". Sure Reloaded had more action in it but the first movie put you right there with being an everyday person and turning into a super-1337 computer hacker that knows kung fu.

As much as I'm an advocate against talking during films, I really did get the urge to stand up and shout, "JUST DIE ALREADY!" during the Trinity scene, and almost did, but reconsidered just before I stood up.

For some reason I haven't seen Matrix 3 yet. Okay, that reason's because I've heard nothing but dissapointed comments like this one from everyone. Another reason is that it still feels like I just saw the second movie. The once a year from the Lord of the Rings is great, because we don't have to wait too long or to shortly for the next one (though we'll see if it does in two weeks).
But I think another reason I haven't gone to it yet is because the second one was somewhat dissapointing. The car chase scene were the only redeaming quallities. I really didn't notice it much in the theaters, but when I watched in on DVD it was then I noticed how BAD the graphics really are. Look at the first fight between Neo and the Agent Smiths. I've seen better graphics on the Playstation 2.
But yeah, we loved the first one, so we saw the second one, and now we have to see the third because of it. Luckily, that's why we have the discount dollar theaters.

Right, so I haven't seen it yet either. Maybe I can drag my sister over Christmas break when we're both home. But first she would probably want to watch the second one... Yeah, maybe that plan won't work after all. In any case, I probably will watch it sometime--although it may not be soon.

I actually thought that the third movie was quite good, yes i must agree on some of the things that you guys brought up, i.e Trinity scene and the one cheesy bit was the end where they are in Sydney's Botanical gardens with the sunset - being a local to the area i saw how much they changed it.
Yes I think everyone would have to agree that the first movie was the best of the three but the third did somewhat make up for the second - I thought the Neo and Agent Smith fight was awesome!!!!
