Okay, so it isn't a movie, but I wanted to review the DVD and had nowhere else to put it:
I brought volumes 1 and 2 together at Best Buy for a total of about 35 dollars, which sounded like a great deal.
When I got home to watch them, I saw that the menu didn't include each individual episode, which was a little disappointing. But, the scene selection allowed me to look at all the individual episodes, so it wasn't that bad.
The episodes looked great in Digital Quality. No weird interlacing images or anything.
The Extra features were nice, it featured Irken Subtitles, and was available in another language, Spanish. I've tried neither of them, though, so I don't know what they're like. It also included Animatics for each episode. I didn't try that one, either. The Commentary was also available, and switched on and off on episodes that had commentary available. There was no switch for this to turn them off, so the only possible way to turn them off that I can think of was to stop and restart the DVD. Sometimes there were a few other extras, like the unaired pilot, and interviews with the people who worked on the show.
Each volume included Two CDs, including a good amount of episodes for each.
...I'm tired of reviewing. What do you think?

One of my most favorite shows of all time on DVD. I've got the first two sets and the third one just came out. The third one is the one to get because it has the Christmas Episode (uncut, whatever that means) and it has a look at the second half of the season that was never finished. The pilot episode was a nice find too. I haven't watched the commentary yet for some strange reason.
The only thing that's dissapointed me so far was the lack of any special things on disk 2. The episode finder is a bit clucky but it works.

There were a few "Happy" moments in the episode that were originally "Angry" ones.
They'll also have episodes that never aired, such as "Backseat Drivers from Beyond the Stars", and stuff. They'll have all the complete episodes, and tried to get animatics together for episodes that only had the storyboards and dialogue finished.

im gonna rez this cuz its fun to revive dead threads and also cuz im a big IZ fan and i own all IZ dvds and also uncut means that the parts of it that were removed when it was shown on tv are not removed in the dvd version, hence it is "uncut".
and PLT is cool, it's the only comic i read that updates on the weekend, it's also inspiring me cuz it's been daily for so long and im trying to do the same thing but it's an intimidating goal =p so gl hf

Heh, over the time this thread has aged, I've gotten volume three, and the collector box that is shaped like ZIM's house.

I got all three DVDs. Fantastic series; I regret that I never watched them when they were on TV.

Dido, My friend has the DVD sets and she corrupted me with it. I loved listening to the actual creators talk about their works. It's nice to see what they think about what they made.

Zark! I guess they don't want me going around correcting your grammar, eh? (I'll refrain, Twad, I promise. I might just need a little doll to choke..) But yes, I am quite the corrupter, aren't I? My favorite of the three DVDs is definitely the third volume. Season two was WAY too short. I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the Extras disk. I must say it kind of sucked.

Those are nothing more than random irken symbols. I (we...) hoped that it would be the subtitles just in the Irken font, but...no, just random.
You should be able to switch it on and off in the audio settings on the DVD OR by using the audio button on your remote (which will skim through all audio tracks, including spanish and any commentaries).
I agree that the 3rd disk is the best....and unfortunately, the only one I have yet to own. (Sapph, I'll get the money to you eventually....)

Grammer is just not my thing. *slaps forehead* Anyhow, I still have yet to watch all the episodes. I think my favorate one (so far) has to be Gaz Taster of Pork.

My favorite episode of season two is Backseat Drivers from Beyond the Stars. The Frycook what Came from all that Space and Gaz, Taster of Pork are tied for a close second.
The Waffle episode isn't as funny without the commentary.
